Section 3: Content

Abstract

The full title of this section is: Learning Content – Input and practice.

Although content is perceived as core on university courses, this section is not so much about what you teach, as important as that might be, but about how and why you teach it, with the focus remaining firmly on learner activity. One of the best things we can do as academics is to stop teaching content and support students as they develop their learning, through inquiry. However, as teachers we are expected to offer and frame the content and devise learning activities students need, so this section discusses how we can best do that, by intentional inclusive design.
