Section 5: Evaluation

Abstract

This book is about a journey ‘from roots to shoots’: the inclusivity values at the root of the symbolical learning design tree (Section 1); the setup, environment and engagement (Section 2); the input and practice (Section 3); and the outputs and feedback practices (Section 4). However, the journey does not end there. This section is about evaluation (at lesson and course level) capturing qualitative and quantitative data, reflecting on it and using it to refine the learning design for the next iteration.
